Firearms Training
The Shawano Police Department's firearms training program is a comprehensive educational endeavor designed to provide the officers with knowledge, skills and tools to meet the community's expectation of well trained law enforcement professional.
This on-going firearms training program includes legal, departmental,social and practical issues in use of force and in particular, firearms.
Officers are required to qualify on the range twice yearly and be knowledgeable in the legal and practical use of their weapons. |
